Camping
Only bring what you plan to REUSE. Our goal this year is to reduce the number of dumpsters by one. Help us reach our goal by planning to pack in and PACK OUT.
- Tent (practice setting up prior to camp – make sure it's intact before you arrive to a disaster)
- Tarp(s) for underneath your tent to reduce moisture.
- Plastic Bins (keep clean and dry – we highly recommend you pack all food, clothing, and supplies in hard shell luggage or bins vs. soft case or duffle bags).
- Inflatable Air Mattress that operates with batteries vs. electric plugs. Campsites are not powered.
- Sleeping Bag, Bedding, and Pillows (a mid-Campout sheets change is always a treat if you have the space. Otherwise, there are laundry machines available.
- Camp Chairs / Table
- Cooler (buy ice at Pick-Me-Ups and the bars)
- Eco-friendly camp decorations. Can you take it home with you?
- Extra light source (solar lights are great and can be very cheap)
- Use flags, neon rope, lights, or other methods to identify your tent's lines and stakes. Don't create a tripping hazard.
