Queer Fam Fund 2026 is Live

Donate or apply now for this crucial program at Honcho Campout.

February 11, 2026

We’ve been working on Honcho Campout 2026 since the moment the 10th edition wrapped, and today we’re proud to announce the return of the Queer Fam Fund (QFF) — now in its eighth year.

QFF remains our north star: an ongoing effort to make Campout reflect the full spectrum of queer life. The program prioritizes Black, Indigenous, and people of color, as well as trans and non-binary fam, working to break down the financial and cultural barriers that too often block access to queer joy. At its core, QFF is about joy, inclusion, and communal care — and about building relationships that extend far beyond the festival gates.

It’s no exaggeration to say QFF has reshaped how Campout moves. From intentional ticketing to vendor collaborations to how we imagine the future, the program continues to push us forward. Last year, alongside QFF leads Kyana Gordon and Jose Guadarrama, we co-created the following guiding vision:

We imagine an expansive future rooted in deep connection with land, people, and art. Honcho Campout creates possibilities where queer communities can dream. Where we trust the wisdom of our elders and ancestral divas – shaping a queerscape to love ourselves. We write ourselves into this world within a world. We come together to create a space full of beauty, comfort, tenderness, and safety. We will transform our festival to be more non-binary, trans, femme, Black, Asian, Latine, Indigenous, working class, and every intersectional identity along the queer spectrum. Help us redistribute resources as we work towards collective liberation.

At Honcho Campout, we tune into what the future holds while simultaneously reshaping it, one dancefloor at a time.

What QFF Provides

To date, the Queer Fam Fund has supported nearly 500 recipients, and we’re working to grow that number again in 2026.

Each selected recipient receives:

  • 🎟️ Full GA Campout ticket
  • 🚿 4Qs facilities fee included
  • ✈️ Travel costs covered (flights, bus, or gas)
  • 🍽️ Meal plan from Wednesday dinner through Monday breakfast
  • ⛺ Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pad)

From the moment beneficiaries leave home, we aim to make the journey feel supported and seamless. Through our Buddies Program that was launched in 2023, past recipients are paired with new participants to offer guidance, connection, and care.

None of this happens without community support.
